If you live in the Bay Area, you’re well-acquainted with the eccentricities of the San Francisco Giants’ closer, Brian Wilson. One of my fondest memories of Wilson came on a late-night donut-run last year, when I witnessed him warning a local shopkeeper, “Rose! I will eat ALL your doughnuts!” I’ll leave what happened next to your imagination.

For those of you outside of the Bay Area, you may have received your first taste of Wilson (and his beard) tonight, during Game 1 of the 2010 World Series. You’re welcome.

    Agreed. I love the way Freddy Sanchez plays the game, but if I have to hear him dip into his bag of post-game cliches one more time, I think I’m gonna pop. I’d take a B-Wilson interview any day. FACT.
